Hello, my dear readers, I Came up with a new tip in our visual studio for your productivity. This tip is really useful for all coders who are using visual studio IDE.

Let me explain to you why this is so useful. The reason is “ We write code and want to place the current code into another section. For this, We usually do cut and paste or copy and paste (if you want the same code).

In this tip, You are going to learn the simplest way of moving the selected block of code or any single line of code using the keyboard shortcut.

Here are the steps to follow,

Step 1: Select code or place the cursor where the line of code to move either down or up.

Step 2: Hold Alt + Press Up Arrow to move the current line of code to up from the current location to the desired location by line by line.

Step 3: Hold Alt + Press Down Arrow to move the current line of code to bottom from the current location to the desired location by line by line.

Step 4: If you want to move a block of code then select the block of code and press and hold Alt key + Up Arrow / Down Arrow from current location to the desired location.
