How to shutdown with a single click using shortcuts in windows?

Do you want to shut down your computer with just one click then this article is for you. This is a very short article but it helps you some milliseconds in your productive day.

Note: This article is only for Windows Users

Step 1: Right-click on Desktop and select New => Shortcut

Step 2: Type your command “shutdown /s /t 0” inside this Type the location of the item area.

Where /s is shut down, /t time and finally value 0 means how many milliseconds. According to this setting it shut down immediately.

Step 3: Click Next and give any name

Step 4: Finally, click Finish and it appears like below,

Step 5: It’s an optional one to change an icon for your shortcut.

Right Click on your shortcut -> Select Properties -> Go to Shortcut tab-> Click on Change Icon

This will popup an alert box which telling us to choose an icon from the list , just click OK and it opens the icon window like below,

Choose among one and click OK, then Apply and finally click OK.

Now icon changes from default to your selected one.

A tip here is to achieve with one click to shut down the system is “Pin this shortcut to taskbar”. When you click on it immediately starts your system to shut down.

To avoid this and to hold for a min or hour then change /t 0 to /t 60. With this setting, your system will shut down after one minute.
