Not sharing an internet to your beloved peoples in home/any where

Myself questioned, Is it possible to share an internet through PC/Laptop to mobiles or any smart devices?

I explored and finally found the way to configure and share the internet to other devices.

Note: Here, I am having Windows 10 OS and achieve through Command Prompt.

First, To create a shared connection through command prompt

Command 1: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=”<AnyName>” key=”<Password to connect>”

Example: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=”hackMyPC” key=”yourWish”

Output should look like this,

Command 2: netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Now, We can see a new connection in View Network Connections window,

Here the steps to follow to share your internet to other devices,

  1. Search in start window: Network Connections and click on View network connections.
  2. Right click on Ethernet and click on Properties
  3. Switch to Sharing tab
  4. Select the Network from the dropdown and check the following item

Check/Tick this option “ Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s internet connection “.

And finally click OK.

Now you will see in Ethernet with Shared in Ethernet connection like below,

Now its our time to connect WI-FI in other smart devices,

  1. Open your mobile and go to WIFI
  2. Find whether your WIFI name (SSID from command prompt) is showing or not? If showing, then click on it and enter the password (Key from command prompt)

3. Once it is done and it should show you like below,

That’s all.. Your problem fixed and see a real smile on faces from your family members : )

Please give us your valuable feedback on this and share this article to your friends and family members.

It’s time for me to leave and come up with a new article. Bye for now..
