How to hide Apps on Iphone/Ipad without any third party software?

Hello Readers, I understood why you be here. As I Promised, I am going to show you how to hide apps on Iphone/Ipad without any extra/third party software’s.

You can achieve this using Screen Time feature. Most of us know about Screen Time is to track the activity on usage by us on day to day and shows us a report in a graphical format.

We do more with Screen Time feature like other one is Hiding an Apps.

Hiding an app is different for Apple own Apps and third party ones.

To hide an Apple Owns Apps like Safari, Facetime,…

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Screen Time
3. Click on Content & Privacy Restrictions
4. Click on Allowed Apps

Now you can see the following picture has Apps which apple Owns. Here you can hide individual one.

Ex: Here we are going to show Safari as an Example

Now you will learn how to hide a third party apps using Screen Time feature.

Hiding third party apps is not a straight forward but we can hide only through age wise apps using through Screen Time.

Note: For each app in app store there is an age added in right corner. Refer the below screenshot.

Ex: Instagram apps age is 12+ so when you select 12+ option from screen time, apps comes under 12+ age going to hide it from your iphone or iPad.

To hide this app as an example,

1. Go to Settings
2. Click on Screen Time
3. Click on Content & Privacy Restriction
4. Click on Content Restriction ( This will enable only if you enable the above one)
5. Click on Apps
6. There are many options listed and choose one and see how it looks.

As for this article, I am going to hide 12+ or 17+Age Apps on my IPAD. One example here is YouTube.
