Differences between Skype vs Skype for Business

This line of statement gives a non-technical person to understand what is skype: It’s a communication messenger or chats. In simple terms like how we use Whatsapp but there is a lot of difference why we go for Skype or Skype for Business.
Now in your mind thinking why skype then? In General, We use WhatsApp for our personal chat and it won’t help in other aspects like sharing a screen and even other features.
As an example, Skype is for personal and not to use for our office work (It’s all based on organizations to use personally for their office).

- We can use skype for video call up to 25 and it depends on network connectivity.
Skype for Business:
- It’s an enterprise-level (1000+ people)
- Company/Organizational Microsoft Registration accounts (Ex: Office 365)
- Calls to your organizational skype for business users or if our administrator enabled with other organization then you can.
- Even using this we can call Skype users if our administrator enabled.
- Able to call normal calls and it’s all account level.
- Up to 250 people can attend a group audio call.
- Additional Feature here is BroadCast up to 10000 viewers by one person.
- Integrated with Office 365
- Provides an Enterprise Level Security
Skype for business is come up with a Microsoft Office 365 plan which organization has to buy based on their organization needs.
